Meet the Therapist
Jennifer Kiehl
Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, Associate Professional Clinical Counselor
I’m Jennifer Kiehl, the founder of Sage & Summit. My passion for therapy stems from a deep belief in the power of human resilience and the transformative impact of compassionate, collaborative care. My approach is rooted in humanistic values, and I draw on various modalities, including Adlerian, Gestalt, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gottman, and Narrative therapies, to provide a personalized experience for each client.
With a background in working with individuals, couples, and families, I specialize in helping people navigate trauma, relationships, and life transitions. I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, including creatives, athletes, members of the LGBTQIA+ and Asian-American communities, and individuals from ages 13-92.
I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Marriage and Family emphasis from Palo Alto University and am currently pursuing my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. In addition to my clinical work, I’m committed to staying informed of the latest research and best practices, ensuring my clients receive the highest standard of care.
Outside the therapy room, I find inspiration in nature and art, which deeply influence my perspective on personal growth and healing. I believe that, like the natural world, humans have an incredible ability to adapt, evolve, and thrive—even in the face of adversity.
I’m honored to walk alongside my clients as they navigate their paths toward greater clarity, connection, and well-being.
